A Night Out in Sleepy Hollow

  • Irvington Circle Park 250 S Irving Cir Indianapolis, IN, 46219 United States (map)

You are invited to join your neighbors and friends for an evening in Irving Circle Park, as we celebrate Halloween, in homage to Irving, with an evening highlighting authors, storytelling, and American artists of all mediums:

  •   Winning contest entrants will read their original spooky stories.

  •   Sally Perkins, a professional storyteller, will sweep the audience into a ghostly story of the     Headless Horseman.

  •   The Black Hat Society, a coven of neighborhood witches, will put the audience under their             dance performance spell.

  •   The Irvington Performing Arts Academy will present scenes from “Dracula.”

  •   Wrap up the evening with Scary Jazz by  Nick Tucker, sponsored by Coal Yard Coffee.

The Tie Dye Grill is grilling free hot dogs, Coal Yard Coffee is serving up warm beverages for a chilling October evening, and Bookmamas is generously donating awards for the winning entrants of the writing contest. This is an ideal night to finish painting your window for judging and to head on over to the park to grab a hot dog and a seat on a hay bale to enjoy the show, all brought to you by the immensely talented folks of Irvington!

If you ever long for the Halloween Festivals of days gone by, this is the event not to miss! This event is FREE to the public, though you are encouraged (but not required) to bring a canned good or dry good for the Gaia Works, Inc., food pantry, located in The Magic Candle.

We will see you there, along with Ichabod Crane and maybe even the Headless Horseman!
